October 2021
So after been taken on for counselling and doing a little bit of work I decide this is the month to take small steps back to my normal life and start been more positive and not doing anything that is negative in my life or that doesn't benefit me.
It's also the month to forge ahead with our December Wedding plans.

No 1 will be completed in December & No 19 can be crossed off because you're sat here reading it.
So No 1 on the list me and Michelle crack on with organising the wedding, We've already found our DJ and also made a start on table decorations from various stores by bargain hunting. Early in the month we also find our Wedding cake supplier, Can't wait to see the finished 4 tier cake with different flavours in each tier. Kiss me cupcakes

Today is my first counselling session with Onebright, The first session goes ok and I end up crying lot again as I tell how I got to a stage 4 diagnosis. Because of Covid the counselling is by phone call and there are some awkward silences, I would have much preferred some face to face counselling. I'm hoping the following sessions go much better and become more indepth of how to cope and manage my diagnosis with some helpful coping tools. Nothing was mentioned about CBT considering my initial assessment said it would benefit me.
