Start Of My Symptoms

It was early April 2021 when I first started to feel different & things weren't quite right. I had started to feel fatigued, Constant stomach cramps & along with an increase in Bowel movements I wasn't feeling to good.

At first I just thought it was a simple stomach bug that would eventually go away by itself plus a week later I had my first Covid vaccine & this also knocked me about.

After 3 weeks I contacted my local Doctors as symptoms were not disappearing, I had a phone call first which then the Doctor asked me to come in the next day for an examination.

Examination day after an early work finish on a Friday.

Examination included a lot of prodding of my abdomen & then a Prostate examination followed.

Doctor couldn't see anything obvious so I was sent on my way to have blood tests.

Doctor thought it might be Crohns disease, Ulcerative colitis or irritable bowel disease.

So I phoned about my blood test results to only find out they had lost some of my results so had to go back the day after to have them repeated🙄.

Eventually got a call back from my Doctors to say blood tests had all come back OK apart from I was now also aneamic from the loss of blood from my back passage.

So the next step now was my Doctor was arranging a Colonoscopy for me along with a call from the consultant.

Had a call from a consultant just asking basic questions & decided I did need a colonoscopy which was set for 17th June.
